The competition dates

Up to 15 April 2014 – Online-registration and the submission of the registered participants’ works.

16 – 25 April 2014 – open Internet-voting.

28 April – 12 May 2014 – the work of pedagogical committee.

The drawing competition is held in the context of the International Internet-project “Dialogue of Cultures”.

  • «Friendship Post»

    The 21st century is undoubtedly the century of high technologies. Rapid progress has made communication such an easy thing! Nowadays it is not a great problem to text to your friend: “Hey, how are you?” and to get a nice answer a few minutes later whilst some decades ago one wrote letters and needed a post system including post stamps, which have gradually become an objective or collectors. Those particularly rare and exclusive are very precious for philatelists (stamp-collectors)… How about producing some more treasuries for them?

    Draw your own “National stamp”, showing the beauty and originality of your motherland and reflecting its cultural heritage.

  • «A Good Maxim is Never out of Season»

    What does it mean “a good maxim” concerning folk side of the problem? It means “proverb”. A proverb is a real fount of folk wisdom, which is always relevant and always worth saying.

    Find a few proverbs of different nations which are similar in their meaning and make an illustration, reflecting the common sense and features of the proverbs chosen, discover folk wisdom!
