Participation in the competition

The participation in the competition is individual.

To participate in the Competition you should register yourself up to 21 April 2014 inclusive.

If you are already registered in some other individual competition of the Project (photo or drawing competition) you should confirm your participation in the photo competition using your Virtual Office (the link "Register in other competitions of the project").

You need to have an e-mail to participate in the Competition.

After filling in the Registration Form the participant will receive an e-mail where there will be a request to confirm the application. To finish the registration click on the link.

After confirmation of the application a registration letter will be sent, where one can find a login and a password for participation in the Competition.

The registered participants submit their works up to 21 April 2014 inclusive using their Virtual Office on the Project's web-site.

Work requirements

1. The contest works must be made by a participant individually (the team works are not accepted) and singly.
2. The quantity of works which may be submitted by a participant is not limited (each work should be in a separate file). Before uploading the works (if there are more than one) pack them into an archive.
3. The submitted works should correspond to the theme and reflect its essence.
4. The admissible file formats – *.txt, *.doc, *.rtf, *.docx, *.odt.
5. The admissible fonts: Times New Roman, Arial, Courier (Courier New). the admissble font size: 12 or 14 points, single line scaping.
6. The document margins should be not less than 2 cm each.
7. The paper size: A4.
8. The pictures (photos) are to be included into the document by insertion of a graphic object (picture) ("Insert" – "Picture from file").
9. The usage of macros is not allowed.
10. At the top of each page the participant's login should be put (you may use headers).
11. The admissible file size is not more than 1000 Кb.
12. Those works not corresponding to the Regulations of the international Internet-project “Dialogue of Cultures” or to its technical requirements may be rejected.

The participants’ works must not:

• Brake existing laws, honour and dignity, protected by law rights and interests of third parties;
• Stimulate religious, race and international discord;
• Contain scienes of violence or animals inhuman treatment;
• Be of obscene or offencive character;
• Contain explicit or implicit promotion of narcotic drugs;
• Brake the intellectual property and allied rights of third parties;
• Be of a pornographic character;
• Contain commercials in any form.
